This work is a 2-part project and involves replacing a failing water main along portions of Fruitland St and Helm St. North Perry have experienced a history of main ruptures along Fruitland St, which has necessitated this work. The water main along Helm St is of the same age and material as the Fruitland St main, and for that reason is being replaced concurrently as part of the same project to avoid future failures. All construction activities will take place within the existing paved roadway surface, within the Kitsap County road right-of-way, and will not extend beyond right-of-way limits. To minimize stormwater runoff impacts - work will be intermittent depending on the weather.
